Midnight arrival and the booked night
An early-hours landing may require booking the preceding night or an expressly confirmed early check-in arrangement. The flight arrival date alone does not determine when a room becomes available.
Specify the flight and terminal
Share the flight, date, terminal, passengers and large bags. Obtain written pickup location, waiting period, delay handling and night surcharges rather than an unspecific promise of collection.
Verify the first meal
A bar, kitchen and room-service desk may keep different hours. Ask what food can actually be ordered at your arrival time, flag dietary needs and keep a simple backup.
Keep the first night light
Prioritize check-in, food and rest. Leave property comparisons, important reservations and cross-district travel for the following day when communication and decisions are easier.
Questions, answered
Who should know about a delay?
Tell both the hotel and confirmed transport provider. Recheck room retention, waiting limits and extra charges; the airline’s notice does not automatically inform them.
Is the airport transfer free?
Use the terms of your booked rate and the hotel’s written confirmation. Membership benefits or promotions are not universal guest entitlements.
